TNI AU Information Service is Now Led by 'Red Wolf'
AVTEN - TNI AU Information Service (Dispenau) is now headed by Air Commodore (Marsma) TNI Fajar Adriyanto. This F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter pilot with a call sign ‘Red Wolf’, previously served as Commander of Manuhua Air Base, Biak, Papua.
Fajar officially became Head of Dispenau after being installed by the Air Force Chief of Staff, Air Chief Marshal TNI Yuyu Sutisna in a military ceremony at Air Force Headquarter, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Monday (5/13/2019).
Dispenau is not foreign to Fajar. Because he had previously held the position of Head of the Sub-Department of Public Information in Dispenau. He was also known to be close to the media crew.
This man born in Malang is an Air Force Academy (AAU) alumnus in 1992. While still in the 3rd Air Squadron - the TNI AU Combat Hunt Ambush Unit, Fajar was once trusted to be the commander of this unit.
Fajar replaced Marsma TNI Novyan Samyoga position, who is now trusted to be the Deputy Commander General of the TNI Academy.
Samyoga is a fighter pilot of the Hawk Mk.53 and Hawk 100/200 aircraft. This graduate of AAU 1989 was once trusted as 15th Air Squadron Commander, TNI AU Combat Unit.
Previously he had served as Head of the Facilities and Construction Service of TNI AU, Commander in Chief of National Air Defense Sector Command I – Jakarta, and Commander of Adisutjipto Air Base – Yogyakarta.
