The TNI AU Master Doctrine Revision Must Be More Practical and Easy to Understand: Air Force Chief of Staff
Air Force Chief of Staff, Air Chief Marshal Yuyu Sutisna stressed, the revised results of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) Swa Bhuwana Paksa (SBP) master doctrine, must be more practical, easy to understand, accommodating, consistent and applicable.
According to him, the TNI AU SBP master doctrine revision need to continue to do, to be able to answer the demands of changing times to fit the needs of the organization, the development of strategic environments, science and technology, threats essence, disruption, and modernization of defense equipment.
Yuyu said the affirmation in a written speech read by the Deputy of Air Force Chief of Staff, Air Marshal TNI Fahru Zaini Isnanto when opening a national seminar on the Revision of the TNI AU Swa Bhuwana Paksa Doctrine in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/5/2019).
Furthermore, Yuyu explained, the TNI AU SBP doctrine must be deeply rooted in the soul of the TNI AU soldiers. Therefore, this doctrine must be a source of inspiration to arouse spirit, fighting motivation, and the morality performance of Air Force soldiers that professional, militant and innovative.
"The TNI AU's vision and mission are reflected through the meaning of the slogan and symbol of the Swa Bhuwana Paksa which is a projection of the duty of the TNI AU, namely to realize national defense in the air to protect the security, independence, sovereignty, integrity and interests of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia," Yuyu said.
This doctrine will be a guideline for the TNI AU in carrying out its duties, both in the context of the use of force through military war operations and military operations other than war, as well as in the context of strength coaching through construction, development and maintenance.

The seminar was attended by 164 participants with the theme "Building the Ability of Modern Air Force Operations to Face the Threat of National Defense". Present as a guest speaker; Marshal TNI (ret.) Chappy Hakim, Prof. Atif Latifulhayat, and Wibawanto Nugroho Widodo.
